Blood Orange and Basil Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Tequila
  • 1 tbsp Agave
  • 3 oz blood orange juice approx. 2 blood oranges
  • 1 oz lemon approx 1 lemon
  • 4 leaves basil muddled
  • 1 oz elderberry lemonade or la croix any flavored sparkling beverage like la croix can add some bubbles to this cocktail

Instructions

  • Squeeze the blood oranges and lemon.
  • Muddle basil leaves.
  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with crushed ice.
  • Pour over a large ice cube for a beautiful presentation.
  • Serve with a slice of blood orange and a leaf of basil as garnish.
